SV	Toen het volk dit kwade woord hoorde, zo droegen zij leed; en niemand van hen deed zijn versiersel aan zich.
WLC	וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע הָעָ֗ם אֶת־הַדָּבָ֥ר הָרָ֛ע הַזֶּ֖ה וַיִּתְאַבָּ֑לוּ וְלֹא־שָׁ֛תוּ אִ֥ישׁ עֶדְיֹ֖ו עָלָֽיו׃
Trans.	wayyišəm^a‘ hā‘ām ’eṯ-hadāḇār hārā‘ hazzeh wayyiṯə’abālû wəlō’-šāṯû ’îš ‘eḏəywō ‘ālāyw:

AC	ד וישמע העם את הדבר הרע הזה--ויתאבלו ולא שתו איש עדיו עליו
ASV	And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.
BE	Hearing this bad news the people were full of grief, and no one put on his ornaments.
Darby	And when the people heard this evil word, they mourned; and no man put on his ornaments.
ELB05	Und als das Volk dieses böse Wort hörte, da trauerten sie, und keiner legte seinen Schmuck an.
